Cheyenne (she/her) became a swimmer at the Long Island Aquatic Center in Nassau County, where she transitioned from swim lessons to competitive swimming with the highly regarded club team, the Long Island Aquatic Club (LIAC). Her passion for the sport was further nurtured by the facility's Aquatics Director, who recognized her talent, helped mentor her, and inspired her to teach. A proud graduate of Adelphi University with a degree in Psychology, Cheyenne finds joy in the balance of focus and fun that swimming offers. She delights in sharing this joy with her students, creating a peaceful yet challenging environment. Outside the pool, Cheyenne is an art and music enthusiast, enjoys dancing, and is pursuing her graduate degree. Cheyenne is also a devoted aunt to three nieces and a nephew.
