Mackenzie (she/her) discovered her love for swimming at the age of four at her local outdoor pool in Baltimore, later honing her skills with the Retrievers Aquatic Club and the YMCA swim team located at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Now a sophomore at Pace University studying psychology, Mackenzie is inspired by the joy of seeing young swimmers overcome their fears and embrace the water. A former Girl Scout of 12 years, she brings a nurturing spirit to her lessons. Outside the pool, Mackenzie enjoys theater, live music, and spending time with friends. With her pet chinchilla and a love for meeting new people, Mackenzie is excited to share her enthusiasm for swimming with her students.
